  P Murugiah – humanitarian who tends unclaimed dead bodies and needy living by Himanshu Bhatt P Murugiah, a Hindu welfare icon in Penang, has helped arrange funerals for the most destitute and forgotten individuals in our society. Many years ago, scores of unclaimed dead bodies, including those of homeless children, were piling up within the Penang Hospital mortuary. It pushed P.   he former Malaysian national squash champion, national coach, Director of Coaching and basically “Mr Squash of Malaysia” when met in New Delhi at the test event for the Commonwealth Games, confirmed that he will be accepting the two year extension. “It has been bliss for me here the last eight years and I see no reason not to stay on,” said Maniam who is certainly the most decorated Asian squash personality. He was inducted to the Asian Squash Federation last year and besides his position in India, he is also the Director of Coaching for the Asian Squash Federation (ASF) and World Squash Federation (WSF).
